Our KARA range. A 19% chromium Ferritic Stainless Steel stabilised with molybdenum and niobiumthat offers elevated hot mechanical properties and a resistance to high temperature oxidation and creep (up to 1050°C).

Main features

Good weldability; ease of forming; good resistance to corrosion (in gas boiler and burner environments) and high temperature oxidation and creep (up to 1050°C); enhanced hot mechanical properties (without risk of σ phase formation at intermediate temperatures); greater thermal conductivity and lower expansion coefficient than austenitic grades.
