PHYTIME is a 300 KSI (kilo-pound square inch) martensitic alloy ideal for hardening by ageing heat treatment. Its very outstanding mechanical and metallurgical properties make it particularly suitable when resistance to fatigue damage is required.
Iron Co soft magnetic alloys with exceptional properties include: a very high saturation induction, a high resistivity, low loss and low coercitive field.
IMPHY SUPRA 50 is a FeNi soft magnetic alloy with saturation induction and high permeability. The high performance level and the chemical purity make this alloy particularly suitable for applications requiring high sensitivity and great accurary.

In new vehicles, Electric Power Steering (EPS) has replaced traditional hydraulic power steering. One of the advantages of EPS is that it eliminates the power steering pump. This improves fuel economy and eliminates the weight and bulk of the power steering pump and hoses. EPS is also quieter  because there is no pump noise and no fluid flowing through hoses and valves. But the most noticeable difference is in handling and steering refinement.

Alloys are the material of choice for a number of rail applications. For example, thanks to their suitable ohmic values, NiCr and FeCrAl alloys can be integrated into the composition of electric resistance that absorbs energy and acts as braking mechanism (for electrical motors).
