(South America offer) A molybdenum-containing chromium Ferritic Stainless Steel stabilised with titanium and niobium.
Main features
Very good resistance to pitting corrosion in chloride media (outperforms 304L (18-9L) and 316L (18-11ML) grades); not sensitive to either stress cracking or intergranular corrosion; low toughness at transition temperatures (even in welded zones); good drawability and weldability; higher thermal conductivity higher and lower thermal expansion coefficient than austenitic grades. Delivered by Aperam South America.
