Main features
Good weldability, easy to form (similar to low alloy steels), good resistance to corrosion (in both natural and slightly aggressive environments) and oxidation (up to 800°C).
Applications
- Automotive exhaust systems: manifolds, down-pipes, converter casings, mufflers, etc.
- Welded structures exposed to relatively mild corrosion conditions or temperatures under 750°C
