Many agricultural applications require a material with good hardenability and workability. The challenge is finding a solution that offers both. That’s because adding an element to improve hardenability often ends up reducing the material’s workability and vice versa. The exception is boron. With a chemical composition that includes medium levels of carbon and ppm, our boron grades offer the hardenability and workability that agricultural applications demand.
